Although many of our Founding Mothers and sisters have graduated and moved on to different places, we, the Nu Sigma Pi active members, pride ourselves with continuing to having strong ties and connections with our Alumni. In 2007, on the sorority's Tenth Year anniversary, sisters had a chance to meet and reconnect with the Foundings as well as sisters as far back as Alpha Class. We strive to maintain these relationships and build new ones.
Beginning a new year always brings excitement and a renewed sense of determination, however beginning the twelfth year of an ongoing tradition that has been the passion of over two hundred women is more than words can explain. Giving birth to such a great bond of sisterhood is something amazing, but what is more is that other determined women have succeeded in continuing this long line of achievement far beyond anybody's expectations.
Realizing the immense amount of time and effort that was put forward to make this organization what it is today, we cannot help but think of the impact this has had on all of our lives and how much we have grown in unison. Although we do not all know each other personally, we are united: united by a bond stronger than the differences we may hold. With these words of welcome, we wish to extend an invitation to all alumni who have, knowingly or not, made a difference in so many people's lives; we belong, forever more, to Nu Sigma Pi!
We can only hope to amount to all of the greatness you have achieved, but having as many of you at our events is nothing short of an honor! Your participation is what makes us stronger; it allows us to maintain what you have so successfully started. As active sisters, having so many alumni is a riches that is not surpassed by any other, and we hope to see you among us, whether it be at one or many events, so that we may extend to you our gratitude and learn more about the determined and passionate women who have shaped our future so that we may continue your legacy and inspire many more passionate women.
